Mikes Report:
Kiting at Alberta beach Ross Andreas and Mike
Once again great day for me on my 15 mtr Ross and Andreas (foiling ) had mixed results as wind was light and up and down
..after
we called it a day and decided to visit the local outdoor patio for beers and wings, hanging with all the local bikers (social distancing was practiced ) and of course the wind picked up the whole time we were there and was still blowing steady when we headed for home we were tempted to do another session but none of us could face dragging on a cold wet suit again …

Ted's Report:
I got it backwards!. Louise and I went for a bike ride to Camrose and back in the morning when I should have been foiling. The way to town was slow (headwind), but the way home was fast and fun!
After lunch, I tried foiling on my 7.0. The wind was not quite enough. I went to the public beach because getting out through the weeds there is a bit easier. Louise was my lucky charm. She came by to check on me and take a couple of photos. I was about to quit, and then caught a couple of wind gusts and got a couple of good solid foiling reaches. Stoked, I kept going, but after she left, I got pumping a few times, and almost got it, but slogged most of the time. I am getting great pivot jibe and tacking practice!
